Lenders Block is an emerging online marketplace that connects interested consumers to various Lenders, real estate professionals, insurance companies and/or financial services companies in its network. Currently, there are over 1000 participants in our continually expanding national network. When you visit our Web site to request a particular type of product or service, all you need to do is complete a simple online request form. Based on the personal information you supply to us, Lenders Block will transmit such information to the lenders, real estate professionals, insurance companies and/or financial services companies in its network that are best able to assist you with the product and/or service in which you have expressed an interest. 2. Collection of Information
There are several areas throughout the Lenders Block site where you may be asked to enter both personal and non-personal information. We DO NOT sell or share any of your personal information to or with any person or organization except as authorized by you, except to those parties whom are necessary to fulfill your request, or as may be required by law or court order.

Information obtained through online requests

When you come to the Lenders Block site to complete a form indicating your desire for a certain type of product or service, you'll need to provide various personal and financial information which is not limited to Name, City, State, Address, Zip Code, Work Phone, Home, Phone, Email Address, House Type, Current Value, Loan Amount Desired, 1st Mortgage Balance, Current Interest Rate, Current Payment, Declared Bankruptcy, Credit Rating, Employment, Years Employed, Yearly Income, Monthly Debt, Loan Desired, and Best Time to Call and other financial information depending upon the type of product or service you are seeking.

Some of the information you provide to us may be optional. If you provide us with this optional information, it will not be sold or shared to or with any person or organization except as authorized by you, except to those parties whom are necessary to fulfill your request, or as may be required by law or court order.

• Technical information we collect
  In order for Lenders Block to ensure that we are providing our users with the best possible consumer experience on our site, we gather and track certain user information. We store information that we collect through cookies, log files, clear gifs, and/or third parties to create a profile of our users. A profile is stored information that we keep on individual users to detail their viewing preferences. Consequently, collected information is tied to the user’s personally identifiable information to provide offers and improve the content of the site for the user. This profile is used to tailor a user’s visit to our Web site and to direct pertinent marketing promotions to them. Your profile, if shared, is shared in aggregate form only with other third parties.

  If you come to the Lenders Block Web site from an online banner ad, an anonymous identification number may be passed to our site. • Log Files
  Lenders Block also utilizes Web Logs to track aggregate information about how our site is being used. Web Logs track anonymous user information, including the number of visitors to our site, operating systems, Internet Provider addresses (if publicly available), and browser type. Unlike cookies, Web Logs are maintained only on Lenders Block servers and do not store or place anything on the user's computer.
  
  
• Clear Gifs
  Lenders Block employs a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. The main difference between the two is that clear gifs are invisible on the page and are much smaller, about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. Clear gifs are not tied to users’ personally identifiable information.
  
  In addition, we use clear gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by the recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
  
  
• Information obtained from the "Contact Us" section of a Lenders Block Web site
  You may contact Lenders Block directly through the "Contact Us" feature. Your participation in this area is completely voluntary and it is your choice whether or not you wish to disclose your personal information to us.
  
  In the Contact Us form, we may ask you for personally identifiable information such as your name, mailing address, email address, etc. This information will not be sold to any person or organization. However, your information may be shared with other parties relevant to your transaction to help resolve any issues you report to us.

  The "Lenders" section of our Web site contains information for Lenders who wish to join the Lenders Block network. If you are a Lender and you submit a form requesting more information, your name and other identifying information will not be sold or shared with any person or organization.
  
  Your e-mail address or telephone number may be used by authorized Lenders Block employees to contact you concerning your request.
  
  
• Information obtained from Real Estate professionals
  The Real Estate section of our Web site contains information for Real Estate professionals who wish to join the Lenders Block real estate referral network. If you are a Real Estate professional and you submit the form requesting more information, your name and other identifying information will not be sold or shared with any person or organization.
  
  Your e-mail address or telephone number may be used by authorized Lenders Block employees to contact you concerning your request.
  
  
• Information obtained from the "Affiliates" section of a Lenders Block Web site
  The "Affiliates" section contains information for affiliates who wish to join the Lenders Block Affiliate Program and advertise Lenders Block's service on their site. If you would like to become an affiliate, you may submit an application containing personal information such as your name, e-mail address, telephone number and address. If you use Lenders Block's service through an affiliate site, under no circumstances will an affiliate ever see your information.
  
  You will receive an e-mail from Lenders Block indicating whether or not you have been approved to participate in its Affiliate Program. If approved, we will use your e-mail address to inform you of Affiliate Program news and updates. You may withdraw your membership from the Affiliate Program at any time by sending an e-mail to affiliates@lendersblock.com. If you choose to withdraw, you will not receive any further e-mails regarding the Lenders Block Affiliate Program.
  
  If you come to a Lenders Block site through an affiliate site, Lenders Block will never sell or share your information with that, or any other, affiliate.   Lenders Block makes several resources available to you to help you complete an online request form. One of these resources is the "Calculators" section of our site. We do not collect any personal data you may input into to any calculators on our site.

We use the information you provide on your online request to match you with participating Lenders, real estate professionals, insurance companies, financial services companies or authorized agents. We may also send your information to other third parties relevant to your transaction. Lenders Block may also share certain aggregated data with the participants in our network and other third parties for general marketing and demographic purposes, however, this data DOES NOT include any of your personal identifying information.

• Sharing information with the participating Lenders, real estate professionals, insurance companies and financial services companies in our network.
  Upon clicking on the "Submit" button, the information that you provide to us via our online request form will be sent through the Lenders Block system and presented to transmit to the Lenders, real estate professionals, insurance companies and/or financial services companies in our network that are able to provide you with the product and/or service in which you have expressed an interest. The participants in our network may keep and use your information whether or not you qualify for their products and/or services, we recommend that you contact them directly for more information about their specific privacy policies.
  
  Once the participants in our network receive your information, they may contact you directly via phone, e-mail or other method of communication. All of the participants in our network operate under federal and/or state laws and regulations and believe, as we do, that the Internet is an exciting, efficient and secure place to do business. If you are matched with a participant in our network, the individual or company which you choose will report certain information about the product and/or services you choose to Lenders Block, and Lenders Block will treat that information in the manner it treats the information you provided on your loan online request. As the participants in our network may keep and use your information whether or not you qualify for their products and/or services, we recommend that you contact them directly for more information about their specific privacy policies.
  
  
• Sharing information with third parties
  Lenders Block may notify you about special offers from one of our promotional partners. At your request, Lenders Block will not send you any information or offers unrelated to your request for financing. If you do not wish to receive any of these offers, please visit our Opt-Out section where you can remove yourself from our mailing list. We do not reveal your name, address or any other identifying information to that promotional partner unless you request us to do so.
  

4. Altering Information You Submit Through a Lenders Block Web Site
Lenders Block puts you in control of your experience on our Web site. Our site is easy to navigate and will enable you to easily find all the information you need to complete your transaction.

• Changing your information
  If you need to update your information provided to Lenders Block via an online request form, you can simply update your information by submitting a new online request form. If you are unable to complete this online, you may contact our Customer Service Department for assistance.
  
  If you want to change the type of request or make other significant changes to your online requests, you should make a new request through our Web site. If you wish to opt-out of receiving Lenders Block emails, you can visit our Opt-Out section. If you wish to change your subscription to Lenders Block emails, you can simply visit our Opt-Out section to remove yourself and your old information from our mailing list and then revisit our subscription area located on the Home page of this Web site.
  
  
• Deleting your information
  Applicable federal and state laws, rules and/or regulations may require that we store your online requests for various periods of time. In order to comply with those legal requirements, we cannot delete such information from our databases. We store all of the information you might provide securely.   Periodically, Lenders Block may send you emails to alert you to money saving tips or special offers. If you do not wish to receive any of these offers, please visit our Opt-out section where you can remove yourself from our mailing list.

5. Communications Lenders Block via Special Offers, Updates and Newsletters.
Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services and special deals via emails and/or newsletters. At your request, Lenders Block will not send you any information or offers unrelated to your online requests. If you do not wish to receive any of these offers, please visit our Opt-out section where you can remove yourself from our mailing list.

6. Opt-out Area
At Lenders Block you are given the opportunity to ‘Opt-Out’ of having your information used for purposes not directly related to your online requests. For example, our request form has an ‘Opt-Out’ mechanism so users who don’t want any marketing material not directly related to their online requests can keep their email address off of our lists.

Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications may opt-out of receiving these communications by visiting our Opt-Out section and removing themselves from our mailing list.

Users of our site are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so our users can make an informed choice as to whether or not they should proceed with services that require an outside party.

Lenders Block Web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that Lenders Block is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. If Lenders Block decides to change its privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. Lenders Block will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

Lenders Block responds to subpoenas, court orders and legal process, and will establish or exercise its legal rights and defend against legal claims. Lenders Block believes it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Lenders Block’s terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
